For over 20 years, beaches hot yoga has been Toronto's destination for transformative hot yoga, energizing HIIT Pilates, restorative Yin Yoga, and therapeutic cold plunge therapy. We welcome everyone, all levels of fitness and experience, to join our vibrant, supportive community.

For over 20 years, our flagship beaches studio has been a cornerstone of Toronto's hot yoga and fitness community. Founded in 2002, this welcoming space has grown into a home where students come to move, sweat, and reconnect with themselves.

What You'll Experience at bhy

The Heat

Every heated class at bhy is set to a signature 40°C and 40% humidity, maintained through radiant heat panels and supportive infrared technology. This combination creates consistent, therapeutic conditions that go beyond simply making you sweat — the heat supports deeper muscle release, improved circulation, and a more focused, intentional practice. And because the environment stays consistent, your body learns to adapt, building resilience and stamina with every class. If you're looking for a non-heated option, Yin is our only unheated offering and a beautiful place to start.

Achieve optimal health through 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Balance all body systems while building concentration, patience, and determination. Finish with mental clarity, confidence, and reduced stress.

hot HIIT

A fun, full-body, high-intensity workout using pilates principles. Practiced on a mat in a heated room with energetic music and optional weights. Strengthens muscles, burns fat, and gets your heart pumping. Designed for all fitness levels. sweat level 4/5

ignited 45

45 minutes of heat based in barre and pilates principles. Low impact, high results. Using body weight or low weights at high reps, fine tune your muscles while supporting healthy joint movement. Get sweaty, feel the burn, see results.

hot barre

Practiced to music on a mat and at the barre. A fun, challenging class for all levels using props like resistance bands and balls. Sweat, smile, and strengthen your body and mind.

yin yoga

A gentle yet challenging practice. Postures held passively for 3-5 minutes. Calms body and mind, reduces stress and anxiety, improves circulation and flexibility, releases fascia, and enhances joint mobility. Finish feeling relaxed with improved energy flow.

hot yoga fusion

Builds on classic hot yoga's 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, drawing from Hatha, Yin, and Pilates. Practice breath and movement, build upper body strength and coordination. Finish feeling calm, connected, and energized.

Experience life-changing benefits of deliberate cold exposure. Reduce inflammation, boost mental clarity, strengthen immunity, and build resilience.

Your First Visit: What to Expect

All Levels Welcome!

Every class at bhy is truly for all levels. Whether it’s your first class or your thousandth, you’ll be guided to meet yourself where you’re at, using mindfulness, repetition, and breath to build strength, mobility, and resilience.

Our classes support:

  • Beginners looking for clear, accessible instruction

  • Consistent practitioners seeking progressions

  • Advanced movers wanting depth, intensity, and precision

  • Anyone looking for the best hot yoga and sweat-based workouts in Toronto

The more consistently you come, the more your practice transforms you — physically, mentally, and energetically.

Before You Arrive

  • Book online - Pre-registration is mandatory for all classes

  • Hydrate well - Drink plenty of water throughout the day

  • Arrive early - Give yourself 15-20 minutes before your first class to check in, get oriented, settle onto your mat and acclimatize to the 40°C heat
    What to bring - Yoga mat, large towel for hot classes, water bottle, and comfortable workout attire

When You Arrive

  • Remove shoes at the front entrance

  • Check in at the front desk - our friendly team will show you around

  • Spots in the practice room are first come, first served

  • Only your mat, towel, and water bottle are permitted in the practice room (secure bags and phones in the changeroom)

  • Let your teacher know about injuries or sensitivities

During Class

  • Hot Yoga classes - Maintain a peaceful, silent atmosphere to support everyone's practice

  • Pilates classes - Hoot, holler, get pumped up! Encourage each other and have a great time

  • Listen to your body - Take breaks when needed; there's no judgment here. Move with mindfulness and honour your own pace.

  • Put out the energy you wish to receive - Your positive attitude elevates the entire room

After Class

  • Showers available for a quick rinse (2-3 minutes in consideration of others waiting)

  • Continue hydrating throughout the day

  • Notice how you feel—increased energy, better mood, clearer mind
